Logline: A social worker mother and her eccentric artistic daughter team, struggles to organize a much needed community theatre company in their crime infested city; the theatre company is comprise of local amateur talent and few coulda been, woulda been egotistical professionals, as well, the mother-daughter team triumphantly overcome the opposition from the naysayers within and outside of the company and successfully produces a original piece that eventually goes to Broadway.
